“One Last Time: An Evening With Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga” at Radio City Music Hall was by all reports as fabulous as anyone might have presumed ahead of time, based on the duo’s lengthy and successful 2014 run of “Cheek to Cheek.”
But rather than a celebration on Thursday, it was a night of honor and tears and a goodbye to Bennett, one of the world’s best performers and singers, who at 95 years old may be winding down his days on stage.
Bennett has Alzheimer’s Disease and it was the run of two shows at Radio City were his first performances since the diagnosis last February.
