By DONNA BALANCIA
Gloria Gaynor, known for her hit “I Will Survive” has put her suburban New Jersey mansion on the market for $1.2 million.
The queen of the disco beat and GRAMMY winner who dominated the charts in the days of dance, continues her winning ways, even in her real estate endeavors.
Located in a New Jersey suburb of New York, the home is a mirror of Gaynor’s great taste, enhanced with many custom upgrades she personally selected. Gaynor created a modern design that makes for an elegant feel in the five-bedroom, 8,000-square-foot estate.
Special features in the home include a movie theater, a pool enclosed by a glass atrium, architectural ceilings, glass block windows and a marble fireplace and floors, circular office space, and a party-room style basement.
As for the exterior of the home, there is a park-like backyard with a large deck and gazebo and mature shade trees.
The listing agent for the home of the New Jersey-born Gaynor is Lisa Poggi of Douglas Elliman.
