Todd Rundgren, who was recently inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame, is expected to play complete sides of A Wizard A True Star — much to the delight of his longtime fans — when he goes on tour this fall.
The announcement of the “Todd Rundgren: The Individualist A True Star” tour came on the rocker’s 73rd birthday, June 22. The album A Wizard A True Star was released in 1973.
Rundgren, selected to the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame after several years in the running, will kick off the “Todd Rundgren: The Individualist A True Star” tour in Boston with stops in New York, Ridgefield, Conn., and his home town of Philadelphia. Rundgren and crew will head to stages in Florida, Ohio, and Denver, before wrapping the tour in California.
Tickets are on presale — use the password AWATS — and the general public can buy tickets on Friday, June 25 at 10 a.m.
